After a weird night of drinking my best friend and I were driving back into town early that morning. Totally alone on the highway. Grey, bleak, silent, i.e. typical Wyoming. Anyway, I Need A Life was playing. And it was like magic, in all the isolation there was finally some sort of connection. Maybe it was the hangover, maybe I was reading into things too deeply. But hearing that song in that moment moved me somehow. Like there was more than just this small town. That I wasn’t the only one who wanted so much more. Good or bad, something was better than the silent nothing pressing in. Born Ruffians, Fuck Yeah.
I was at that recent show at Steam Whistle for the Boys Who Say No's cd relsease. It was so amazing! =] His performance was amazing. Also - last year I seen Born Ruffians live with First Rate People and they got the crowd going so good it was insane.
oh, awesome. I know I have a certain bias here, but the Ruffs really do rank high on the list of best live.
as far as FRP…. words could not capture my love for those bros. So run, don’t walk to their bandcamp / last fm if you haven’t heard their free EPs.
